and now that i've actually been to one, im even more certain.
from young, like all other kids, i've always wanted to visit disneyland.
and i still do. now. even at 20. wad a big baby. but i like it.
and like all kids are stubborn and want their way, i wan this my way too.
i cant really pinpoint exactly one thing that i like or lurve abt this place. but rather, it's whole. the characters, the setup, the colours, the music, the feel, the smiles...
makes everything come to life. just on its own. representing itself.
it's almost magical.
even aliens can look so ridiculously cute. i wonder why some pple choose to make aliens seem so hideous and horrible when they have an option of making them friendly and cuddly.
it's probably the same in which some pple choose to make themselves enemies and such terrors when they actually can have peace and harmony with others.
it's a personal choice i guess. and since we encourage democracy and freedom of thought, it's inevitable that we get both the good and the ugly.
the 3D animation was great. in fact fantastic. surreal. i sincerely applaud the creators.
i lurved it. we all did.
and of cos we couldn't miss out the singing and dancing. not even if we wanted to. it's disney! although i do feel that high school musical was a teeny weeny overrated.
i lurve singing and dancing. freely. and with speakers blasting disney music all around the park, it's rather impossible not hum or sing along. at least for me. it's rather difficult. i half skipped and hopped around the park to the tune. under my umbrella. and no the rain din hinder me. in fact my umbrella provided a good shade to hide my embarrassing sing-and-dance-along self.
hee.
i really wouldnt mind driving this vintage thing around. seriously.
and there's us with our mickey and minnie ears. =D
i thought that was rather cute.
i do wish it hk's disneyland had a real castle i could visit though. it was rather disappointing.
the castle was only a gateway to the "fantasyland".
that's tarzan's treehouse.
a real pity we couldnt actually swing over with vines screaming the
"ah yee ohhh yeeee ohhhh yeeee ohhhhhh"
or swim across a river full of crocs. that would have been more realistic.
nah. im just kidding. but i wouldnt mind the vines.
princess, owner of the glass slipper, where art thee?
and these are the characters we managed to take photos with.
i am so lucky to have met chip and dale! =D
*BEAMS*
and the tigger was naughty. that heavy guy leaned on us totally.
i couldnt resist taking a snapshot of this. it's so cute.
would have bought everything home if i could.
this was the new exhibit. [small world]. where everything was miniature. and they were playing the "it's a small world after all" song in different languages throughout the ride.
which greatly reminds us that this world, is really small. we all seem connected in some way or through another, in what we deem as a quirky coincidental fashion.
it's a subtle way of saying that no man is an island and no one is supposed to be alone. everyone is related to one another. so the next time when u feel alone with no one around u. turn to the person next to u and give him/her a hug!
god says we're supposed to love one another anyway. =)
hee.
i adore the sweets shoppie. makes me feel like buying the whole shop to share with my friends. im sure they wun mind a few free additional calories.
and i wan my house in the future to be like that. a victorian mansion.
where i can put rocking chairs and cushion seats along the corridors for afternoon tea.
a place where i can tuck into a good read while watching cars drive leisurely by or cows and sheeps grazing on the meadows.
how comfortable.
i really thought this was DAMN comical.
couldnt resist posting this up.
i think it's better than my face.
my pictures at disneyland was the nicest.
cos i smiled from my heart. and felt most at home.
it was my kind of place.
i wanna go again.
who's with me?
