"True love is when you love someone who doesn't love you."
WAD?!!
yes. seriously that was my reaction too when my friend told me this.
but hey. it makes sense if u think about it. true love only comes when u love the person wholeheartedly even when u noe there will not be any reciprocation.
so wad about those who love each other?
is it not true love then?
do pple get together just 'cos they ought to be?
a marriage of convenience.
sonnet 75 - it's about a man loving a woman of whom he thought was his ideal. but it appeared that he was in fact more besotted with his ideal instead of the real woman beside him. it's kind of sad. but true. how so many people are obsessed with finding who they want to love and imposing their ideals on others instead of trying to love people for who they already are.
i almost forgot how fun it was to just laze around and talk with a friend. about dreams, the past (her cat in particular), love, ideals, EVERYTHING.
that's wad i did with my roomie today.
and it was great. =)
(though we both know it's reality we're living in)
we talked about our dreamhouse. a little cottage in the forest. (she claims it's enid blyton who instilled this idea into her) and the cottage HAS to be little because she doesn't want to have too much trouble cleaning up. (she's a messy person, really. and she knows it.) with lots of trees and flowers. (i'd love to have sunflowers and strawberries) swings under trees. (i wan that too).
is this the season for love?
it seems that so many of my friends are yearning for love.
"i need a man."
"i want to graduate, find a nice guy... No! find a guy now, anytime, then graduate. get married and have kids. i love kids! "
as quoted.
how much is one willing to compromise in their ideal for true love?
i wonder.
this post may sound a little cynical but hey. i din deny the fact that the feeling of being in lurve is sweet.
i absolutely adore hugs and cuddles. thanks sharm. =D
