i met the mj tennis gers for a farewell gathering @ fish and co for lihuan b4 she leaves again for australia.
oh man. we're all gonna miss her. =(
but without goodbyes, pple will never look forward to seeing each other again.
so i guess it's inevitable? =)
thanks lihuan, chong, singhui, dari(im so gonna join her in london SOON) and those who din manage to turn up todae for being such wonderful teammates before and always.
=D
yukari. 成tian由香里
and my first jap words! =)

i met this sweeting today.
she actually called me! =)
quite unexpected.
to think we were total strangers just 3 days back.
it's funny how small u think u become when u meet pple from distinctly different parts of the same world u share.
she lives in nigoya. btw osaka and tokyo. and her state is abt as big as singapore.
yes she also promised to accommodate me the next time i go backpacking in japan =D
i went with her on a tour to little india. =D
we visited shops selling jewellery, henna, bangles, watches, handbags. blahh.
and even went into a temple. (i have to admit it was my first time really)
for our tea-break we had roti prata and murtabak and teh terik.
plus a really looooonnnggg chat at the coffee stall.
which i enjoyed immensely.
we almost went on for hours and couldnt stop.
never have i made a foreign friend like this before.
im so lucky.
*beams*
we click on really well too.
i brought her to have the famous rochor beancurd and then to plaza singapura where she went positively ballistic at seeing the japanese foodfair and daiso.
she probably misses home sushi and domoyaki.
and i jus found out that japanese food is ridiculously overpriced in singapore.
no worries. i now have a friend who can ship me japanese snacks every mnth.
oh! and and and did i mention that she is a great cook cos she studies nourishment as her major? there we go. another common point.
we both love food and baking and cooking too!
and i happened to be in the midst of trying out my new recipe when she called.
i had such a mad rush to finish baking within an hour.
but it turned out pretty okie.
how lucky for me again. =D
the nut's favourite tart recipe
ingredients -
flour butter sugar yolk baking powder vanilla essence peaches kiwi blueberries strawberries pineapples (din reallie like those) white chocolate chips creme cheese mirror gel
and lotsa lurve.
with added heart and soul.
no preservatives.
just that the tart was presented in some sort of a distorted home-made fashion.
according to my friends who ate it (limited to 1 piece per person), it was OH-MY-GOD yummy-so-delicious and the pastry was fantastic.
hAas.
but there's alw room for improvement.
im happy at my first attempt.
it feels so good to be driven around. and be the first ger to take the front seat too!
coooool. tt's for u pat. =D
and thanks for wasting so much petrol by getting lost in yishun cos we forgot to turn at yio chu kang and subsequently getting trapped in circles in sengkang.
it was really fun today.
we shld have some more of this kinda outings. =D
yes it's a good tuesday today.
